I see this in so many people. The need for people to have what they want, when they want it, is rarely a benefit.
On the contrary, this mental attitude to life will often take them down the road where not having things ‘just so’, will show its ugly head in the form of bullying, petulance, frustration, stubborn, arrogance, ignorance, anger, depression and similar life inhibiting behaviours.
You know, I’m often inspired when I watch a butterfly dance through the air; I see it’s former incarnation as the caterpillar as it being in ‘control’ mode, and following a period of deep and enriching self reflection, emerges free as the butterfly.
Be that butterfly, and let go!
